    Abstract

With the ongoing enlargement of urban areas and the increasing density of urban populations, there is a limit in terms of land area to accommodate diverse urban-based facilities. Recently, multi-level urban planning, one of the techniques for regenerating urban areas, has been used as a solution to various urban problems. Multi- level urban planning is a development method that introduces a three-dimensional perspective to the existing two-dimensional planning in order to utilize urban areas more efficiently. The multi-level development of urban area uses several methods together, and produces a new type of development. Therefore, the purpose of level-dimensional urban planning is to contribute to the efficient development of future urban areas by adopting a clearer type concept. Through the analysis of preceding articles and references, ' level-dimensional Urban Planning' was classified into three-dimensional city planning, multi-level urban planning, multi-level road planning, multi-level landscape planning and multi-level underground planning.
